The legendary OPM rock band Aegis is set to make a grand comeback with an unforgettable concert, “Aegis: Halik sa Ulan: A Valentine Special," on February 1-2, 2025, at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City.
This two-night event promises to be a celebration of timeless music and heartfelt performances as Aegis—composed of Juliet and Ken Sunot (vocalists), Stella Pabico (keyboardist), Vilma Goloviongo (drummer), Weng Adriano (bassist), and Rey Abenoja (lead guitarist)—performs their greatest hits. Fans can look forward to iconic anthems such as Basang-Basa sa Ulan, Luha, Sayang na Sayang, and many more, bringing nostalgia and passion to the forefront of this special concert.
Aegis won’t be alone in delivering electrifying performances. Each night features a unique lineup of guest artists:
• February 1 (Day 1): The phenomenal Morissette Amon will grace the stage, alongside rising band Formula 5 and a surprise guest artist, an OPM legend.
• February 2 (Day 2): OPM luminary Ogie Alcasid, One of Philippines’ Birit Queens Jona, Asia’s Limitless Star Julie Anne San Jose, and Formula 5 promise to captivate audiences with their exceptional talents.
In addition to celebrating their music, Aegis will also pay tribute to the late Aegis vocalist Mercy Sunot, whose talent and legacy will forever inspire. Part of the proceeds from these shows will go to the family of Mercy Sunot.
